LET GO

Many things happen daily that are out of our control.  It is natural to want to control everything in our lives.  However, the more we attempt to control things, usually leads to more chaos and disorganization in our lives.

I think we should always put forth effort to steer our lives in a positive direction, but we have to be careful of how we do it.

One of the ways to be the most effective leader possible is by controlling those things within your control and letting go of everything else.  It isn’t possible to control all the moving pieces in our lives.  Not even the best project manager can control everything.  We need help!!!

Each of us has grave responsibilities personally and professionally.

I have always heard the phrase, “Let go and let God.”

This can be difficult, but let me encourage you to seriously consider making this statement part of your life.  Before you get your day started, daily tell yourself to “LET GO AND LET GOD.”

God wants to make you a better spouse, parent, or sibling.  Matter of fact, He (God) wants to promote you professionally.  When you do well in life, God’s name is glorified.  So remember God is completely invested in successful growth and development of your life.

“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.  Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.” - 2 Peter 1:3-4

With God being invested in our well being, we should relinquish any control we think we have and recognize Him as the Great Controller.

God is capable.  He is always listening and is responsive with His unconditional love.  So let go of those things out of your control by pouring your heart into Him.  In return, He will pour himself into you.  Start now making room for God.

“Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God.  I will be exalted among the nations!  I will be exalted in the earth!” - Psalm 46:10

Question: What things are you attempting to control, but you know you need to let go and let God control?
