PROFITABLE STRATEGIES OF LEADERS

PROFITABLE STRATEGIES OF LEADERS.001.jpeg

Are you satisfied with where you are in life?  Are you where you would like to be as a leader?  Do you want more out of life?  If so, how do you plan to get what you are looking for?

Even if you are doing well with your leadership, you can always do better.  As humans, we can always grow, develop, and better ourselves.

Sometimes all we need is a slight shift in perspective or strategy to bring about profitable outcomes.  What if there was a way to develop stronger relationships?  What if there were ways of creating financial independence?  What If there were ways of securing your dream job?  What if there was a way for you to live the life you’ve always wanted to live?

With the right strategy you can accomplish just about anything.  Let me share a few strategies that will help you profit as a leader.

1. Assess Conditions.

The best way to achieve anything in life is by first knowing what you know and what you don’t know.  Assessing conditions can be painful if you have never assessed your conditions.  One of the most liberating things about assessing your condition is appreciating the truth.  It is easy to build, improve, and grow when truth and facts are your foundation.

2. Develop Allies.

You have heard me talk about how important it is to have a strong support system with a core group or friends and family members.  Not only do you need a strong support system with your core, but you also need allies.  Allies are people or groups that cooperate or support your vision and goals.  You will be more profitable when you have more people that know and support your leadership.  The most important thing about developing allies is making sure that you are not only seeking support, but that you are giving these same people and groups support.

3. Streamline Expectations.

Our expectations determine much our success.  It can be hard managing expectations, especially when expectations are unreal.  Unreal expectations can be too lofty or too modest.  Streamlining your expectations means that you simplify your expectations.  Many reasons why people fail at meeting their own expectations is because their expectations are too complicated.  Take for an example, having an expectation of wanting to be a millionaire.  Let me give you example.  If your expectation is to be a millionaire.  It sounds simple, but there are many other things that need to happen if you aren’t already a millionaire.  Things such as having a millionaire mind frame, managing your money appropriately, delaying short term gratification, and making the most of your time are just a few things factor into becoming a millionaire.

4. Choose Compassion over Pity.

Leaders have to make a choice everyday to choose compassion and empathy over pity.  Being empathetic and compassionate has to do with understanding another person’s experience and being moved to want to help.  Showing pity is having a strong feeling of sadness, sympathy, and disappointment for a person.  No one wants anyone’s help if it comes from a place of pity.  A person that has pity on someone places themselves in a position of being a judge and / or being a savior.  Leaders should look to understand, respect, and help others without any judgment.  This will create various levels of profitability with your leadership.

5. Regulate Outside Negativity.

Life is full of positives and negatives.  The best leaders are able to manage negativity.  For every positive, there will always be a negative.  However, perspective decides or determines  a leaders success.  If we think negatively, usually we will live in that same negativity.

So what are you waiting on?  Try one or more of these strategies to help with your profitability as a leader.
