God never created us to be less. He wants each of us to be at our best. God’s goal has always been for us to have abundance. No, He doesn’t want us to be wasteful. However, He also doesn’t want us wanting for anything.
Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. - James 1:4
God does not want you to go without, so you should expect more. No one expects to fail, but we can sometimes set low expectation. To successfully live with the abundance God has planned for us, we must should expect more out of ourselves and include God in our expectations.
Is it God’s goal for us to enjoy material abundance? Possibly. But more importantly, God wants us to enjoy abundance with every aspect of our lives.
As leaders, we must trust in God’s promises and expect more out of ourselves to encourage those who are following us. This not only causes you to perform at your best, but it also inspires others to expect more out of themselves.
